Something New!

It's been quite busy over these last couple of months. I finally finished writing my second book, "Hidden Crimes; The role of the church in perpetuating abuse." You can find the link to it here. My hope in writing this book is that it will start conversations about how we can do better in our responses to survivors. I also hope it to be the catalyst for long overdue change in the church and organizations that have hidden perpetrators and covered up abuse. This can not be tolorated any longer. It's up to us to make the change happen.

Now that this book is released, I will also be focusing on rebooting my YouTube channel and creating content for a podcast. The name of the channel is Trauma Informed Conversations. I believe there is a great need for us to understand how we heal from abuse and how we support those healing from abuse and trauma. I am going to create shorter episodes focused on specific topics like; What is Trauma?, Understanding Triggers, Understand How Trauma Affects Our Bodies. I will also be inviting special guests to speak on these topics as well as survivors who are willing to share their stories and talk about the healing journey they are on.

We learn so much from healthy conversations and that is the goal of this second book as well as the podcast. I hope to see you over at the podcast. Be sure to subscribe and leave a comment or two. I definitely plan to respond to comments and keep as much of a conversation going there as well.
